Darling harbour hotels

Located in the very heart of Sydney – it is the city’s glory.
Centuries ago, before Sydney was born, what is now famous as
Darling Harbor was known as “a place of meeting” in
the native aboriginal language. The beauty of the harbor and the city
silhouette will certainly improve your mood for a night of
gambling and romance. You can go dancing salsa, or spend days
here relaxing, writing and reading. It is a place with an
animal park where you can enjoy Australian Wild Life: kangaroos,
cuddly koalas, raccoons doing gymnastics: holy cuteness!

You can see a reckless native alligator as well.
At Sydney Aquarium you can go
deep under the water and see what lives there.
There is a museum with an exhibition of Mythic Creatures
like the beautiful, orange sculpture of Pegasus.

Darling Harbor hosts the best free entertainment in the city:
circuses, street jazz, games with fire.
After dark the city turns the entertainment on
. Darling Harbor offers a delicious menu of culinary delights.
There is a light show you will never forget.
In one of the restaurants there is a golden chandelier in the
shape of a galloping horse. One can have high tea at
the Tea Room – where together with the tea,
you are served cookies and tarts upon plates from bone china,
with golden edge and drawings of spring flowers.

In the streets ibises water themselves in the city fountains,
transportation machines buzz above your head and the flags in the port wave
in the wind. It’s the perfect place for jogging and the air smells of sea.
One can sit and read in the grass.
Near the water it is almost electric green.
There are merry fountains and high palms.

The hotels provide stunning views of Darling Harbor,
and rooms designed for natural living. High-speed internet
allows you to stay connected to the people who matter most.
The lobbies look like comfortable business offices with predominating
colors of the furniture such as magenta and gray and a white,
business-style, reception bureau. The bars are conventional and
look more like quick lunch rooms; they however
provide some of the finest wine. The atmosphere is ordinary,
yet guests are surrounded with all the practical amenities: like a red candle
and a white tablecloth in the restaurant.
Nothing very pretty or luxurious, instead there are easy-going,
everyday designs. In other four star hotels the rooms are inhumanely,
embarrassingly luxurious. Some heavy designs are
beyond what would be perceived as good taste.
But a heated swimming pool is always a good idea.

If Darling Harbor was a composer, he would be Henry Mancini
with his famous Pink Panther theme –
I believe the most suitable melody for such an attractive,
lovable, and artful place. And the melody should come from
Darling Harbor carousel. In the evening, you can
walk merrily along the sea, listening to music coming from places
of entertainment, looking at Sydney’s skyline,
meeting young people who are having fun. It’s the place
to show off that little, cocktail dress.
